My textile designs are now commercially available through The Pattern Cloud in London England

My background involves a fashion design degree with 25 years’ experience in the Miami garment industry. Through my experience in my work as a fashion designer, one of my responsibilities was to purchase textiles. At that time we were purchasing a good number of panels and border prints. I was mentored by some of the best industry professionals.

Textile design was always on the back burner of my imagination, but I needed to develop the skills and courage to step forward and embrace my dreams. In 2005 I returned to school for study in graphic arts. After gaining some proficiency with the Adobe Suite, I studied with Pattern Observer Textile Design Lab online from 2016-2021. I understand what it takes for my files to be vector or raster and in repeat.

What I most enjoy with my life-long hobby in quilting is the pairing up of colors and textures. Taking it to the next level, my most recent collection involves hand-made collage. My goal is to offer something unique that is not currently found in textile design.
